WORLD EARTH DAY Celebration at Aakash Public School, Gurugram

School celebrated ‘World Earth Day’ on 22nd April, 2017 to strengthen our commitment to save the Mother Earth. A special Assembly was conducted on to mark this occasion. Students recited thought provoking poems that left everyone pondering over the present state of affairs. Students from Senior Wing shared some facts about how we are damaging this beautiful creation for the hunger of development. Everyone present was rendered speechless as the school choir sang melodious and enchanting songs as a tribute to Mother Earth.

Students from ‘Science Club’ presented a Short Play sending the message across that looking after the Earth is everyone’s responsibility if we want a healthy life for our future generations. There was mesmerizing dance performance by the students of classes VI to VIII.

Mrs. Radha Kataria, Director School in her address said that everyday should be an Earth Day. The Earth Day is not just about planting trees but also saving the resources. She illuminated the young minds about their role in conserving and preserving this unique planet.
