Teacher’s Day Celebration on 5th September , 2016

Teacher’s Day is celebrated across the nation on 5th Sept., to commemorate the birth anniversary of former President and eminent scholar Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan. In school, Teacher’s Day Programme was organized with incredible gusto and zeal by the students of senior wing classes.

To mark the auspicious day, the lamp was lit by Chairman Mr. Harinder Kataria, Director Ms. Radha Kataria, Principal Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj & Sr. Co-ordinator Ms. Nidhi Nandra. School Student’s Council members organized special assembly in honour of the respected teachers. To honour all the teachers who had been instrumental in shaping their lives the students of senior secondary classes put up a spectacular show the occasion. Teachers were welcomed in a traditional style and were given cards with compliments as a mark of respect. It was then followed by a variety of entertaining programmes by students of classes XI and XII. Students organized various fun filled games for teachers to make the occasion memorable. The Principal talked to the children and reminded them of the tireless labour & love all their teachers put in to bring them up as knowledgeable and compassionate individuals. He urged all teachers to inculcate a sense of belongingness towards the institution and take pride in their work. Later in his address, he thanked all the teachers for the wonderful work they have been doing and said a good teacher heals ignorance and inspires creativity. He remarked that the most wonderful part of being a teacher is to provide flight to the wings of future generation to realize their goals. Chairman , Director and Principal honoured four teachers (i) Ms. Deepkia (ii) Ms. Sandhya (iii) Ms. Sunaina (iv) Ms. Sudesh for their immense contribution to the school.

It was a memorable moment for teachers to see students teachers from senior classes dressed up elegantly and carrying themselves smartly. They taught different subjects in various innovative ways. Three best student teachers (i) Bharati (ii) Priya (iii) Gulnaar were awarded with a memento and a certificate of appreciation for their commendable teaching work.

The celebration ended but left its memories in the heats of all to cherish forever.
