Mother’s Day Celebration

“God couldn’t be everywhere ,therefore He created mothers”

A special assembly & cultural programme on Mother’s day was organized by all three wings (Montessori, Primary & Senior) to celebrate Mother’s day on 11th May, 2018. The main idea was to highlight the importance of mother in the life of a child and to make our mothers feel special.

To make the celebration more special , mothers of students of the Montessori section were invited to the school to be a part of the colorful celebration. The welcome speech was given by the Principal of the school Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj . He addressed the mothers by saying that ‘A mother’s heart is brave and she sacrifices her own pleasures for the welfare of the family. He advised the students that they should give respect and love to their mothers and thank them for all that they have done to make their lives comfortable and lovable. He further thanked all the mothers for their pivotal role in shaping the personalities and strengthening the family bonding.

Sh. Harinder Kataria,Chairman School and Mrs. Radha Kataria , Director School graced the occasion with their benign presence. They blessed all kids and wished all mothers ‘A Happy Mother’s Day’.

On the theme of ‘Mother’s Love and sacrifice’, special songs, dances, drama and poetic recitation were presented. The heartfelt and stellar performance of the students was a moment of reckoning for the mothers to introspect on the immense influence and pivotal role one has to play in a child’s life. Students of Senior Wing presented a play on the sacrifice and love of mother. The audiences were enthralled by the innocence, intellect and creativity of the students. Various songs, dances and skits were presented by them. All the presentations were dedicated to mothers . Children thanked their mothers for always being there for them. They owe their life to her who dedicates and sacrifices her life for them. They praised their mothers for their selflessness and contribution towards their upbringing. The performance of the students was exotic, joyful and enthusiastic rendering everyone spellbound with the high level of true emotions giving tears in each eye.

The happy and excited mothers took part in the various games & competitions like card making, musical chair game & dance competition. All events were team events comprising of the mother and child. Children were very happy to see the enthusiasm of mothers participating in the Dance & Music competitions. Winner mothers of various competitions were awarded by Mrs. Radha Kataria, Director School.

Principal Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj congratulated all three Wings Coordinators Mrs. Nidhi Nandra (Sr. Wing ), Mrs. Seema Verma ( Primary Wing) & Mrs. Mamta Pattanaik ( Montessori Wing ) for successfully organising the programme and appreciated the initiatives and dedication of the teachers. The programme culminated with high tea .
