Measles and Rubella Campaign

Aakash Public School took great pride in collaborating with the Government of India to undertake the social cause of eradicating Measles and Rubella diseases. The MR vaccination campaign took place on Saturday, 01st May, 2018 in the school campus. All the students from classes Nursery to X were vaccinated by the doctors in order to improve their immunity. Due care was taken by the school in dispensing the medicine. The morning of Tuesday, 1st May, 2018 witnessed eminent dignitaries and parents coming in unison to be a part of a Measles Rubella Vaccination Drive organized at Aakash Public School, Near Sector- 5, Gurugram. The campaign was conducted to spread awareness about Measles and Rubella and how these infections can be fatal for the children of our nation. Sh. Harinder Kataria, Chairman School, Mrs. Radha Kataria , Director School & Mr. Sanjeev Bhardwaj, Principal School welcomed Sh. B.K. Rajora, CMO, Gurugram who was the chief guest of the day.

The school management expressed thanks & gratitude for all who had come forward for this campaign and shared the belief that if this responsibility is shouldered by all, these fatal infections will surely be eradicated from our country and we will be able to provide a better , brighter & healthier future to our children. Dr. B. K. Rajora, CMO Gurugram also addressed the gathering, motivated and sensitized all the educators and parents about the vaccinations. This campaign witnessed other eminent guests like Dr. Neelam Thapar , Dy. Civil Surgeon, Gurugram, , Dr N P Singh, Urban Nodal officer, Dr. Meenakshi , UNICEF, & Dr. Rekha . The campaign culminated with the hope that this drive would be a great success and the target of eradicating Measles and Rubella would be achieved by the year 2020 making India stand proud on the World map.
